An Other View

The dog barks backyard and upstairs
the boy lives his way through again.
A rabbit underbrushes dew nibbled grass
geese the moon and crickets.
Footsteps leave and fall laughter from trees.

The boy lives dog barks and footsteps.
The smell of it memories his places
between pages in the other world.
